Kishimoto said he was impressed with the cosplayers that represented different Naruto characters to the point that they even showed the minutest details in their costumes.

He added that he appreciates that the American people are passionate about his work.

The Naruto creator was asked what makes his series have this global appeal that it transcends different cultures.

He said that it's probably of the global theme that no matter where you are you will encounter obstacles in life. He explained that this is what happens in Naruto and he finds a way to overcome them. This is why fans can relate to him.

Kishimoto also shared his favorite moment in the series which is in chapter 698 where Naruto and Sasuke were at the end of their battle and they were both lying down on the ground.

He also revealed that his favorite bad guy in the Naruto universe is Hidan. Kishimoto added that the secret to creating a great villain is to always come up a good backstory and find out why this person is doing such evil things.

In another panel, Kishimoto revealed that when he finished writing Naruto he was then asked to write the screenplay for "Boruto: Naruto." It was only after the production ended that he was able to rest for a while.

The Daily Dot reports that "Boruto" is Kishimoto's gift to his fans as it is a fitting conclusion to the Naruto phenomenon. The film is full of "heart and emotional intensity" reflective of its predecessor.
