The sequel to Joe Wright's "Pan" might not be possible at the moment.

Exhibitor Relations box office analyst Jeff Bock told Variety that the film had a huge misfire and fans would not see another Peter Pan film for a while. After its release on Oct. 9, Wright's fantasy film, which centered on the classic Disney fairy tale character Peter Pan and Neverland, did not perform well at the box office.
