E! News reports that Khloe Kardashian, the former husband of the ex-Laker, is expected to fly to Las Vegas with her mother Kris and sister Kim to be with Lamar Odom. Khloe is said to be "completely inconsolable and heartbroken" over reports that Odom was found unconscious remains in that condition in a Las Vegas hospital.

Khloe cut off all communications with Odom - who took an herbal substitute for Viagra at a Nevada brothel for an all-night party with women - in summer. However, despite the bad breakup, the reality star insisted that she was worried about Lamar for a long time.

On the popular microblogging site, reactions are pouring out about Odom's condition.

Lindsey Adler tweeted, "Kinda makes me sick that people hear Lamar Odom is unconscious and jump to yell 'IT'S THE KARDASHIANS' FAULT.'"

A lot of Twitter members, such as keaundrey slocum, Charlie Villanueva, Miami Heat and xoNecole, offered prayers for the athlete and his family. Villanueva encouraged Odom that to "just fight another battle."

Lakers Nation points out that Odom has conquered so many demons in the past and knows that the former Laker can succeed again this time.

Jordan Schultz reminds people that joking about the unconscious sportsman now and his condition "is not funny or cool or acceptable on any level." Alexa adds that "the fact that people think addiction and depression is a joke is disturbing." Joanna Simkin agrees that it is not the time for Kardashian jokes now.

One such ill-timed joke came from B. Miller who tweeted, "Ex wife Khloe Kardashian says she is praying she can somehow get a magazine cover out of it."

In a statement, the LA Lakers said they are aware of the media reports but do not have additional information about Odom. The team's spokesman, John Black, said staffers are trying to find out which hospital he has been taken and monitoring Odom's situation.
