"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara admitted that she wanted Stella the dog removed from the ABC series. The actress also revealed that she was not worried about child actor Pierce Wallace, who used to play Joe Pritchett, in the series.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live, Vergara shared that she is "obsessed" with the new Joe, Jeremy Maguire, saying that he is super intelligent and fun to have on the show. She explained that the producers wanted an older child actors who could run lines with the actors.

When Kimmel asked how Wallace felt when he was "fired" from the show, Vergara said that he is going to be okay. She added that he will eventually find "other jobs."

"Is there anyone on the show you want replaced?" Kimmel asked Vergara.

Joe Manganiello's fiancé revealed that if it were up to her, she choose Stella. She explained that although she liked her, shooting scenes with her take a long time because she is not a "very good actor."

She further pointed out that the scenes did not take long to shoot because Stella was a dog, adding that there are dogs who can act.

Vergara has always been vocal about her feelings for Stella. In an interview with People back in 2012, the actress explained that she just was not used to having a little dog around, licking her face.

She shared that back in Colombia, she grew up in a house where big dogs slept outside the house. She added that it was very different in the US.
