Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has been officially unveiled and is set to be released on October 26.

There are 3 different models of the Surface Pro 4. Each model has the same upgraded Surface Pen for taking notes, body style and 12.3-inch PixelSense display. Also, their USB port and power button are in the same places.

However, they have different internal hardware. Each model has different available storage, memory and processors. All Surface Pro 4 models use Intel's 6th Generation Core processors to get a performance boost and a better battery life.

The Intel Core i5 Surface Pro 4, which begins at $999, has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has Intel 520 graphics and requires a fan. Users can configure the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Microsoft's $899 Surface Pro 4 has 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core m3 processor. The Intel Core m3 processor does not generate enough heat to warrant a fan. It uses Intel's HD 515 integrated solution. The model has 128GB of storage and users can add more storage using a MicroSD card or the USB port.

The Intel Core i7 Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has Intel Iris Graphics and has a fan. The base configuration has 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. It can be configured with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

The tech company said that the Intel Core M3 model runs desktop software like a laptop and invites users to stream shows and music with Netflix and iTunes. The model is for users who require a quiet and light notebook PC that is as quiet as their previous device.

Furthermore, it excels at streaming video, opening programs and downloading programs and apps from the Windows Store. Reports suggest that the model will have better battery life than other models because of its lower clock speed. The processor has a 900 MHz clock speed.

The Intel Core i5 model Surface Pro 4 is for people who require a tablet, but want a notebook with some power behind it. According to the company, the model is good for desktop gaming. It has a clock speed of 2.4-GHz, WCCF Tech reported.

The Intel Core i7 Surface Pro 4 is for people who want their games to look amazing or want to use industry-specific applications such as wholesale video editing and 3D modeling. The model has a clock speed of 2.2-GHz and is backed by a powerful Intel Iris 540 graphics, PC World reported.

Teachers, students, lawyers and people who want a Windows 2-in-1 can purchase the $899 model. Users who want to play 3D games on their Microsoft Surface Pro 4 should purchase the Surface Pro 4 with Intel Core i5 processor. On the other hand, PC gaming addicts and digital media professionals should buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with Intel Core i7 processor.
