"That '70s Show" actor Topher Grace has shared his thoughts on Sam Raimi's film "Spider-Man 3."

Grace was set to play the menacing character named Eddie Brock in Raimi's third "Spider-Man" sequel. In his interview with The Hollywood Reporter to promote James Vanderbit's forthcoming biopic drama film "Truth," Grace said that while he knew that the film had done well for Sony Pictures, he also knew that a number of moviegoers had not been glad with it.

Along with his input, Grace added that Raimi was so gifted that the latter had been compared to the president of a small country. The actor also mentioned that while "Spider-Man 3" had had a gross national income of a small country, he had high opinion for the direction. For Grace, Raimi had done a fascinating job on the "Spider-Man" trilogy.

According to Cinema Blend, fans might have been dismayed by Raimi's third "Spider-Man" film, as it had gone beyond a number of villains. The publication added that the third film lost its focus on its titular protagonist, which was an indication of the director's loop behind showcasing a more mature Peter Parker. To add, the film roughed up Gwen Stacey's story.

Aside from Vanderbilt's "Truth," Grace is also set to be part of Isaac Rentz' comedy musical film "One Shot," David Michod's comedy film "War Machine," and Dennis Iliadis' horror thriller film "Delirium."

For the time being, Tom Holland is set to don the mask and suit of the iconic web slinger. Prior to his appearance in Jon Watts' solo "Spider-Man" reboot, Holland will debut the character in Marvel's Cinematic Universe the Russos' "Captain America: Civil War," which centers on the release of the Accords. It is released by the government to limit superheroes from using their powers.

Spider-Man's side in "Captain America: Civil War" has not yet been revealed at this point, while previous rumors said that he would team up with Iron Man's team, which reportedly includes Black Widow, War Machine, The Vision, and Black Panther. They are set to clash against Captain America's team, which includes Hawkeye, Falcon, Agent 13, and Ant-Man.

The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere on May 6, 2016 while Watts' "Spider-Man" film reboot is set to hit theaters on July 28, 2017. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt's "Truth" hits theaters on Oct. 16.
