The newest trailer of J.J. Abrams' upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" has shown how Darth Vader will appear in the storyline.

In the trailer, Kylo Ren was seen on the bridge of the presumed Starkiller Base, which could also be the new Star Destroyers. As the melted helmet of Darth Vader was shown in the succeeding sequences, Ren said that nothing would stand in their path and he would finish what his foes had started.

The charred Vader's helmet also indicates that the Sith's presence would be strongly felt in the storyline, as per Digital Spy. In fact, sources told the publication that they had seen a "fully operationa; Darth Vader chest piece" together with the helmet in the production for Gareth Edwards' "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

According to Cinema Blend, it was possible that the rise of The First Order follows Vader as a god or a renowned icon to his adherents and the existence of the presumed Starkiller Base entailed that Ren was not the only one in it.

Since Abrams' forthcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi," the Galactic Empire might have formed a union and plotted a second attack.

Meanwhile, Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" stars an ensemble of both old and new heroes and villains played by Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, Max von Sydow, Simon Pegg, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, among others.

Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" hits theaters on Dec. 18 while Edwards's "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" premieres on Dec. 16, 2016. Meanwhile, Johnson's "Star Wars: Episode VIII" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 26, 2017 while Colin Trevorrow's "Star Wars: Episode IX" premieres in 2019.
