Azrael and the Order of St. Dumas are going to enter the world of Gotham in "Gotham" Season 2.
In his interview with Comic Book, "Gotham" Executive Producer John Stephens said that he and the team would be exploring deeper the Order of St. Dumas in the succeeding episodes of the television series and it would have a vital role for the rest of the season. Stephens also added that the Order of St. Dumas story comes along with an Azrael story, which entails that fans would see both in the show.
In Season 2 Episode 5, which was entitled "Scarification," it was revealed that the Galavan family was actually part of the Dumas line and the Order of St. Dumas was linked to their plot of revenge against Gotham as a whole, as well as the Wayne family. In the comics, the presence of the Order of St. Dumas entails the presence of Azrael.
Episode 5 also saw Jim Gordon challenged in preserving order in the city due to the tension between the Galavans and the Waynes, with the former building an alliance with Penguin and a treacherous family in Gotham City. They will continue to pursue their thirst for power in Gotham's underworld.
Meanwhile, the city is set to get fired up in Episode 6, entitled "Rise of the Villains: By Fire," as per Spoilers Guide. The episode will also see Bridgit Pike as she unites again with her bothers. Set to rise as an independent person for her future, Pike is now shrouded with courage. On the other side, Kringle and Nygma's bond will be a bar higher.
"Gotham" Season 2 Episode 6 "Rise of the Villains: By Fire" is slated to air on Oct. 26.
