Damon continues his search for the sixth Heretic in order to protect Caroline from Lily's wrath and put an end to Lily's destructive plan. Meanwhile, fans must watch out for some significant information to be revealed about Heretics, Valerie and Stefan.
According to the synopsis for "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) Season 7 Episode 3 "Age of Innocence" (via Cartermatt), Damon has a plan to find out a leverage they can use to stop Lily. Damon approaches Bonnie and Alaric and convinces them to take a road trip as they search for the sixth Heretic member.

Meanwhile, in an interview with TV Line, "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) star Kat Graham, who plays the role of Bonnie, revealed details about the upcoming segments. According to the actress, Damon's first encounter with Oscar takes an unexpected turn and more about Phoenix Stone is revealed.
"This Oscar meeting takes a violent, crazy turn. A lot is happening in the beginning of the season as we go on these little missions. This one is all about the Phoenix Stone; we're going to learn why it's important, what it can do and how it's connected to other things," Graham told the abovementioned publication.
