Motorola's Droid Series is rumored to be unveiled on Oct. 27 and Motorola and Verizon have reportedly sent out Press invites for the special event in NYC.

Along with the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, Motorola Droid Maxx 2 is scheduled to come out on Oct. 27, according to Latinos Post.

The specs of Droid Turbo 2 are not yet confirmed; however, according to rumors,  the phone is supposed to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 GB RAM, a 5.5 inch (2560 x 1440 px) display,  and a 3760 mAh battery.

The phone also boasts of a 21 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front camera.  It is yet to be confirmed if the device will contain Android Lollipop 5.1.1 or latest Android Marshmallow OS.

Additionally, the device will also contain Verizon Wireless' exclusive version of Moto X Play.

Notably, the basic focus of Motorola for the Droid series is high - end specs and long - lasting battery, according to CNET and all the devices of Motorola Droid series does contain high - end specs.

According to rumors, Droid Maxx 2 might also be unveiled at the grand event of Oct. 27. The specifications of Droid Maxx 2 contain 5.5-inch display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, and will have a 3,630 mAh battery.

Aside from that, the Droid Maxx 2, contains almost the same specifications as Droid Turbo 2, and the Android OS is not yet known.

It is yet to be seen if Motorola unveils any other product at their grand event, which has not been mentioned.
