The Xperia Z5 mobile trio of Sony came during a very interesting time for this Japanese company. Sony has been looking forward to slowing down its phone division when Xperia Z4 release and the following campaign was having problems. However, things changed during the IFA Conference held in Berlin last September as Z5 Premium, Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 were launched.

The Sony Xperia Z5 conforms to the company's Omnibalance design medium, Forbes reported. The touchscreen is dominating the handset's front view, with its right and left bezels having made to be small. This puts the connectors, speakers and camera below and above the screen. A power button is found around its edges, as well as the shutter button for the camera, the tray for the SIM card and MicroSD plus the volume key, which is low on the side of the right hand that appears to be in a wrong place. The mobile conventions put the volume keys close above the device.

Sony has already spent plenty of effort and time in order to maintain a rounded power button on their previous devices to comply with their visual design medium, however, it has been replaced by the need for the fingerprint scanner and polished look in Z5. This fingerprint scanner was placed on the handset's power button, on its edge, requiring a fast reposition of the finger as it wraps around the device, reported by Android Authority. The users will have to get use to the process of picking up the handset, power it on, press to recognize - all happening in a single movement.
