Nikki Reed recently proved that she isn't affected by all of the divorce rumors surrounding her marriage with Ian Somerhalder.
The "Sleepy Hollow" actress partnered with Freedom of Animals to help promote sustainable fashion.
According to Forbes, it has always been Freedom of Animals' goal to produce high quality and fashionable items that ethical and cruelty-free.
Morgan Bogle, the founder and designer of Freedom of Animals spoke with the publication about her partnership with the "Twilight" actress.
"Nikki Reed and I met over lunch in May of this year and spoke about conservation, sustainability and animal rights. Within minutes we knew we wanted to develop a partnership and be on this journey together," Bogle said.
Reed also gushed over her partnership with Freedom of Animals and Bogle.
"I have always been an animal lover, but even with my plant-based diet and no fur policy, I hadn't quite made the connection between what I choose to eat and what I choose to wear. I think Morgan approached me because I had a very consistent message that I wanted to be heard," she said.
Meanwhile, Reed and Bogle recently hosted a trunk show at SoHo and Bloomingdales earlier this month to help spread awareness with their collaboration.
"I am an animal activist and most of what I have focused on for the past 10 years falls into that. I am all for education, and also understanding of the journey. It's not about being perfect, it's not about being extreme, it's about knowing there are options out there, to help us reduce our need for products made from animals, and increase our demand for US made products," Reed added.
