The Uncarrier network T-Mobile is once again pushing the boundaries of mobile networks as the company plans to let its subscribers use unlimited data when streaming content from selected video services.

The notorious leaker Evan Blass, using the Twitter handle @evleaks, broke the news on Thursday. Based on Blass' tweet, T-Mobile will allow its subscribers to stream videos from services such as Netflix and HBO without worrying about their data cap allowance.

According to Engadget, T-Mobile is scheduled to hold a press event on Nov. 10 in Los Angeles. The event dubbed Uncarrier 10 has a tagline "We never hit pause."

In an email sent to CNET, T-Mobile senior vice president of corporate communications Janice Kapner said, "There are always rumors ahead of our Uncarrier events and it's part of the fun - we love it!"

Market analysts speculate that T-Mobile's Uncarrier 10 event is part of the company's plan to lure customers away from its rivals. In the past two years, T-Mobile has been consistent in introducing customer-friendly offers. Among these offers include the elimination of contracts and free international data. So far the strategy seems to be working as the company reported that it has added more subscribers into its fold compared to its rivals over the course of several quarters.

If the rumors are true, the planned unlimited video streaming offer of T-Mobile could prove costly to the company. Video is among the most bandwidth-demanding contents on the Internet and giving subscribers unlimited streaming access to it could drive operational costs as more and more users will flock to its network, potentially clogging network traffic.
