Episode 6 opens with the first "Road Block" where Denise and James are asked to measure their heart rate while they bungee jump from a dizzying height of 364 feet off from Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls, Hypable reported. While they are required to fly Paris (France), all the other teams are able to reach each other and catch the same flight.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the second "Road Block" needed the teams to fly in the open cabin of a classic biplane and find the three words on the ground underneath that forms the French Republic byword that is, liberate, elgalite and fraternite. Justin and Diana were the first to reach and get the plane.

Then followed the next level "Detour" where the pairs had to perform a rap number sung by Passi, the French Congolese Rapper in "Drop the Mic", while the pairs needed to cook a rather detailed seafood preparation and serve it to the French Chefs present at one of the world's celebrated restaurant, La Couple in "Bust a Crab".

Even though Justin and Diana got engaged in a squabble at the Detours they were the first to reach The Arc De Triomphe as well and rushed to the next level right away. "The Amazing Race" season 27, episode 6 end with Tiffany & Krista at the second place, and Joey & Kelsey at the third.
