"One Last Time" singer Ariana Grande recently revealed which side she was taking amid Katy Perry and Taylor Swift's ongoing rift.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the singer chose Perry over Swift because the former helped inspire her to make music.
"I went to her show at The Staples Center a couple years ago and I was totally inspired by it and was like 'Wow, I wanna do this one day.' And then just three years later, I had my own show there, and she came, and she held my hand in the prayer circle and she was like 'Girl, you were here a few years ago watching me and now I'm here watching you, you better kill it girl.' So she's always really supportive," Grande told "Zach Sang and the Gang."
Meanwhile, CDL claimed that Grande's recent revelation may come as a suprise to Swift who considers her one of her closest friends.
However, it's pretty clear that Grande didn't necessarily take sides on the issue because she merely just recounted a wonderful memory she had with the "Firework" singer.
The publication further surmissed that Grande and Swift may have had a falling out that's why the former is taking the side of the latter's enemy.
"We're guessing it has something to do with Selena Gomez. It's no secret that Selena and Tswift are BFFs. It's also no secret that Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber are about to tour together for several shows and Selena Gomez is freaking out about it," the publication noted.
As of late, fans are reacting negatively on the issue by saying that Grande should remain friends with Swift than Perry.
