Thor's brothers in-arms might not appear in Taika Waititi's forthcoming Marvel Comics film "Thor: Ragnarok."

Zachary Levi and Ray Stevenson played Fandral and Volstagg, respectively, in previous "Thor" films. In his interview with Comic Book Resources, Levi said that he hoped he was involved in the film. The actor said he would have loved to reprise Fandral, adding that it had been a fun experience getting to be blonde, Asgardian, and sounding British. Levi also noted that the script was being written at this point.

Meanwhile, Stevenson told IGN that as far as Volstagg was concerned, he would be there within a heart's beat should he had been called with his other Warriors Three to defend young Thor once more.

Clearly, Levi and Stevenson have expressed their desire on reprising their roles and return to Asgard in Waititi's upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok." However, whether they are going to be seen or not in the film is yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, "Thor: Ragnarok" will see Chris Hemsworth reprise his role as Thor while Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Thor's wicked brother, Loki. Jaimie Alexander is also set to appear in the film, playing the role of Lady Sif. Mark Ruffalo's the Hulk will also join the film and is assumed to have a battle with the god of thunder.

Waititi's forthcoming film is also set to introduce the female superhero Valkyrie in Marvel's Cinematic Universe. However, no enough details were revealed on how the superheroine would impact the film's storyline.

At the moment, exact details on the film's plot, additional characters, and cast are yet to be revealed.

Waititi's "Thor: Ragnarok" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Nov. 3, 2017.
