The screen at the upper left of Singer's photo also shows James McAvoy, who is reprising his role as Charles Xavier/ Professor X in the film. The upper right side of the photo could be either photos of the film sequences or photos of the crew. Over all, Singer's photo got more than 6,000 likes.

With McAvoy in Singer's photo, the teaser is assumed to contain actual footage from the film, as per Cinema Blend. According to the publication, the main objective of initial film teasers is to make the film known to the audience than to showcase them the whole package. There are also reshoots to be done, to consider that the film is set to be the longest among the "X-Men" films.

As per The Projection List, the anticipated film teaser is set to hit the big screen on Nov. 6, along with the trailers of Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War" and Duncan Jones' "Warcraft."

Meanwhile, fans are set to see the mutants in Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse," which centers on the rise of En Sabah Nur, also known as Apocalypse, as he recruits his powerful Horsemen to help him destroy humanity. To prevent their archenemy from fulfilling his plan of massive destruction, Professor X must lead a team of young mutants.

Aside from McAvoy, "X-Men: Apocalypse" stars Ian McKellen, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Olivia Munn, Lana Condor, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Hardy, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Rose Byrne, Josh Helman, and Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, among others.

Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 27, 2016.
