"Lego Dimensions" new batch of fun and team pack will include the Doctor Who's world, plus characters can be sampled out even without the mini-figure.

The second wave of the "Lego Dimensions" fun and team pack will be based on other Disney characters such as Doctor Who, Ninjago, The Simpsons, and "The LEGO Movie." This will let players have access to the characters of the said movies. It is also said the add-ons, will be opening up new playable worlds that are connected to the specific character, according to a report from Forbes.

In addition to the said five packs that will be included in Wave 2, a new feature will also be enabled and is called "Hire-a-Hero." This feature will let players of "Lego Dimensions" to check out and play Wave 1 characters, even without the Lego mini-figure. One can spend the studs collected in the game, as the YouTube video shows.

This is a great move by Warner since players can try to check the locked areas first without the need for the physical mini-figure.

Doctor Who's level is entitled "The Dalek Extermination of Earth" in which Doctor Who needs travel through time and space in order to stop the Daleks from conquering London. The other packs include Krusty and Bart from The Simpsons, Unikitty from The Lego Movie, Kay and Cole in a double pack from Ninjago, and Laval from Chima.

Kai and Cole can provide the players with Ninja weapons and Spinjitzu skills while Krusty and Bart will provide adventure, The Simpsons' way, Toxcy reported.

"Lego Dimensions" is available Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
