HTC One X9 is the rumored successor to One A9 and its alleged specs seem to fit a flagship phone, according to tech enthusiasts. Apart from the big specs, its sleek design was confirmed by a leaked press release image.

HTC One X9 is creating a buzz within the tech community after a leaked image confirms its thin side bezels, large screen and huge BoomSound speakers. Tech fans note the possible absence of a fingerprint scanner found in its predecessors, but some speculate it could be on the rear side.

Moreover, the press release included a text saying, "silky smooth touch", "shoot like a pro", "more in every inch" and "cinematic surround sound", which describes the Dolby sound processing featured in One M9.

Under the hood, HTC One X9 could run on either MediaTek Helio X20 processor or Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC 820, according to Android Headlines. Both processors are yet to be released to the market.

The RAM might be 3 GB or 4 GB, while the internal storage could be between 32 GB and 128 GB. The screen is likely to be 5 inches, sporting 1440p QHD resolution, although some say it might be 1080p FHD.

When it comes to the camera, tech fans seem to be sure about the 23-megapixel rear shooter and the 4-megapixel HTC UltraPixel front camera, like in One M9. The battery is expected to be a non-removable 3,500 mAh.

HTC One X9's price is expected to be around $470, according to GSM Arena.

The Taiwanese smartphone company has not confirmed any of the specs or the release date yet, but tech fans expect that HTC One X9 will debut by the end of 2015 or early 2016.
