Liv was afraid that she might turn Major into a zombie in "iZombie" Season 2 Episode 5.
"iZombie" Season 2 Episode 5 was entitled "Love & Basketball." According to Entertainment Weekly, Episode 5 saw Major and Liv make up for lost time with a makeout session. Liv panicked because she could have been turning Major into a zombie. They then decided to walk the "no-kissing-on-the mouth" route.
Liv also went to handle the case of a security guard and basketball coach, who was shot through the heart. Clive and Liv scrutinized the case while Major took over the coaching tasks. Meanwhile, Preach cut the utopium from the boat party for Blaine, who had it delivered to Ravi. Preach's death became inevitable, as he mistakenly injected himself the tainted utopium, which was wrongly cut, and thus would not work.
The episode also saw Max Rager's new researcher wanting an intelligent zombie specimen while Gilda stole Liv's blood sample. Clive also contacted Suzuki's widow and asked whether he was suicidal, leading to a trouble at the precinct, initially.
After reporting the zombie suspects as negative so as to spare them, Major also broke up with Gilda, which strengthen her suspicion. Major also got rid of the utopium and wanted to return to Liv, who was fearful that she might turn him into a zombie.
Meanwhile, Liv is set to unintentionally cross path with Seattle's most dangerous man in "iZombie" Season 2 Episode 6, which is entitled "Max Wager." According to Spoilers Guide, Episode 6 would see Liv investigate the death of wicked gambler Harry while Clive would get a "super-fan" moment when he and Liv throw questions at NBA Hall of Famer Calvin Owens at Harry's funeral.
Blaine's father is also set to get an important revelation while Rave gets some bad news. Major also continues to struggle while Evan shares a huge secret to Liv.
"iZombie" Season 2 Episode 5, "Love & Basketball," aired on Nov. 3 while Episode 6 "Max Wager" airs on Nov. 10.
