"Supergirl" is set to part itself from other television shows as Kara fights Astra Season 1 Episode 2.

"Supergirl" Season 1 Episode 2 is entitled "Stronger Together." According to JoBlo, the show was cheesy and sweet, though it might be a "deal-breaker" with some fans. With there were instances when a viewer would roll her eyes, the episode showcased story that engaged its viewers with the joy and challenges of being a superhero.

At this point, Kara and friends is set to be at par with The CW's "The Flash," which perfectly unleashed equilibrium between the elements of charm and action.

In episode 2, Kara asked Winn and James to help her master her abilities, in addition to Hank and Alex set her for physical training. The superheroine also discovered the insect-like alien Hellgrammite, which escaped from fort Rozz. Hellgrammite escaped from the DEO's ambush and kidnapped Alex, taking her to Astra.

Astra used Alex to lure Kara. During the fight between Kara and Astra, Hank injured Astra with a Kryptonite knife while Alex killed Hellgrammite. Astra opted to delayed her plans upon knowing that Kara had become more powerful than she had thought.

Meanwhile, Cat told James to get her an interview with Supergirl, but James had hesitations to let Kara go through it. Kara agreed to be interviewed, so that James would not get fired.

Hank also seemed to have a secret, as his eyes glowed red at the end of the episode.

Meanwhile, Kara is the target of Superman's archenemy in "Supergirl" Season 1 Episode 3, which is entitled "Fight or Flight." According to Spoilers Guide, Reactron, one of Superman's daunting enemies, arrives in National City and targets Supergirl. The episode will also see Cat plot an expose on the titular superheroine.

"Supergirl" Season 1 Episode 2, "Stronger Together," aired on Nov. 2 while Episode 3, "Fight or Flight," airs on Nov. 9.
