The Detroit Lions (1-7) are not looking good this season, to say the least, and they are off to Lambeau Field on Sunday to face the suddenly slumping Green Bay Packers (6-2) for an NFC North matchup in Week 10 of the 2015 NFL season.

Detroit is fresh from a bye week and they hope that the long rest would give them good fortune against Green Bay, who will be keen on bouncing back from back-to-back losses to top teams Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers in their last two games.

The Lions last match was a 45-10 annihilation in the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs at the Wembley Stadium in England on November 1st, as per ESPN.

It was Detroit's second consecutive loss after scoring their only win of the season so far in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears and was Jim Caldwell's first game with new offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, who recently replaced the sacked Joe Lombardi.

Green Bay is also in a two-game skid after winning its first six games of the season.

After a humiliating 29-10 drubbing in the hands of the Broncos in Week 8, the Packers were again upended by another powerhouse squad, the Panthers, on the road in Week 9, 37-29, via USA Today.

The Packers were down 30-14 entering the fourth quarter of their Bank of America Stadium match when Aaron Rodgers led a comeback that went up short for Mike McCarthy's side.

They go back home against the Lions this weekend and are expected to have a convincing bounce-back victory over their visitors.

Prediction: Packers win, 35-24.
