"The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder is reportedly reaching out to Nina Dobrev secretly.
In the past couple of weeks, there have been reports that Somerhalder has been feuding with his wife Nikki Reed.
One of the reasons was allegedly due to the "Twilight" actress' decision to portray a sexy character on "Sleepy Hollow."
Another reason reportedly has to do with Somerhalder's desire to have kids in the next couple of years.
Meanwhile, fans of Somerhalder and Dobrev as a couple believe that there's a chance that the former "The Vampire Diaries" co-stars will reunite romantically.
In fact, some of them believe that the two are still communicating with each other behind Reed and Austin Stowell's backs.
As of late, Reed, Somerhalder and Dobrev have not yet denied or confirmed the allegations.
In other news, there are also some rumors that Somerhalder is looking forward to Dobrev's return to "The Vampire Diaries" this season or in season 8.
According to KDramaStars, it was the actor who said that Dobrev's exit from the series was done in such a way that she could return to the hit The CW series any time she pleases.
This has led fans to believe that anything is still possible even though Dobrev already said time and time again that she won't reprise her role as Elena Gilbert.
In an interview with InStyle, Dobrev said that she will be cutting her hair for her new role. This means, Elena won't be back anytime soon because the character died with her usual long locks.
"I'm going to be cutting my hair for my next role. I'm doing a movie that I haven't announced yes, so I can't talk about it, but we're going to be cutting my hair for that," she said.
