Ridley Scott's sci-fi hit "The Martian" sustained dominance being on top at the box office this weekend, hitting the top spot again with $ 11.4 million.

Meanwhile, Sony's Goosebumps came through another successful week, ended up being the second with an estimated $10.2 million, followed by "Bridge of Spies" and "Hotel Transylvania 2," both of which earned $8.1 million and $5.8 million, respectively. Although they both still managed to hit the Top 10, "Zombie Apocalypse" is a different case, which blasted in 12th place with just $1.8 million.

In contrast, Watney's case where his situation didn't allow him to just wait and consume fruits to survive. Sadly, he needed to work much harder to ensure of his survival. Another 20th Century Fox film that made it on top of the boxoffice is "The Peanuts Movie," which gathered $7.8 million at 3.872 cinemas.

There are quiet a list of movies that have a big budget and casts who can pull off a wonderful performance, humor and passion: however, with "The Martian," Ridley Scott has managed to create this film since the famous "Black Hawk Down."
