"NCIS" season 13 episode 8 of the CBS hit drama will see Tony DiNozzo meeting his ex-girlfriend Jeanne Benoit when insurgents in Sudan attack a group of volunteer doctors. In this week's episode, fans will see the return of DiNozzo's ex.
Surprisingly, Jeanne seeks for Tony's help because her husband has been taken by the insurgents.
The latest video of "NCIS" reveals that DiNozzo and Benoit will try to find the latter's husband collaboratively in Sudan. McGee will accompany them to see the crime scene. Seemingly, the Sudanese insurgents do not just kidnap these volunteer doctors, but also kill them.
A central question that strikes the viewer's mind is whether the NCIS team will manage to trace Benoit's husband before he is murdered by the insurgents.
In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Gary Glasberg said, "There aren't many, but she is the one 'that got away. So that takes us into all kinds of Tony DiNozzo folklore that we haven't touched on in ages."
Meanwhile, Joel Gretsch will return to reprise his role as Special Agent Stan Burley. It is evident that Gibbs will experience some physical hardships that are most likely linked to his touch-and-go surgery that occurred in "NCIS" season 11.
With regard to the difficulties, Gibbs fall down and Dr. Cyril Taft (Jon Cryer) calls for an ambulance as he helps him sit on a chair.
It is also revealed that Abby fans will have a chance of seeing more of Pauley Perrette's character in the next episodes of "NCIS." In a different interview with the same publication, Glasberg said that Abby's past would come to surface after the holidays.
The showrunner said, "There's more Abby backstory coming after the holidays, but I'm still in process of figuring that out."
There is a possibility of fans seeing Abby's brother who disappeared in the previous episodes.
