In the 2012 documentary, "Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap," Eminem credited Treach as a major influence. Tracy Lauren Marrow, professionally known as Ice-T, executive produced the documentary and co-directed it with Andy Baybutt.

Aside from Eminem, Ice-T also interviewed of several other emcees, including Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Rakim, Nas, Bun B, Common, Q-Tip, Big Daddy Kane, Yasiin Bey and Kanye West, who collaborated with Eminem, Drake and Lil Wayne in "Forever."

For Treach, it is an honor to have somebody like Eminem who comes out and becomes incredibly successful and says he was a part of his life. He said he was honoured to have inspired the "Rap God" rapper.

Treach is the lead rapper of the hip hop group Nature by Nature. He and the hip hop group released seven studio albums. The latest album was "Anthem Inc.," which was released in 2011.

As a solo artist, Treach has collaborated with several artists including Young Noble, Peter Jackson, Harlem 6, Rappin' 4-Tray, Volta Masters, El Da Sensei, Celph Titled, Sticky Fingaz, Bone Brothers and Buckwild, among others.

Along with Scarface, Mally G and Icarus, Treach also collaborated in 2001 with Redman, who was surprised by Eminem in a live interview with Sirius XM on Nov. 9, Monday. Redman was a guest on the show when the "Rap God" rapper surprisingly called and told a story about how he ended up in Redman's home years ago.
