It looks like Wolverine has a chance to have a cameo in Tim Miller's forthcoming Marvel Comics film "Deadpool."

Hugh Jackman is known for his role as Wolverine in "X-Men" films. He recently tweeted a video on his official Twitter account. The video featured Ryan Reynolds in his Deadpool makeup, making a "Jackman" impression to remind people to send their votes for the Australian actor for People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive cover. Jackman's post got more than 6,500 favorites and more than 3,000 re-tweets.

Jackman's presence in the "Deadpool" set was questionable, according to Cinema Blend. However, the publication said that Jackman could be there just to see how the shoots were going, which was similar to Patrick Stewart's visit in Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse." It is also rumored that the actor was there in the set to shoot a scene for "Deadpool," as he might not have had enough time for filming last year.

Fans are set to see Jackman as Wolverine in Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse," which is set to be longest among the "X-Men" films. In his interview with The Movie Report at the San Pedro International Film Festival on Oct. 10, Singer said that the upcoming film was a "wrap up" of six films - "X:Men 1, 2, 3," "X-Men: First Class," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," and a homage scene at the conclusion of the film.

Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" follows the awakening of En Sabah Nur, also known as Apocalypse, as he plots to destroy humanity. To prevent their archenemy from fulfilling his plan of massive destruction, Professor X and Raven must lead a team of young mutants.

Aside from Jackman, "X-Men: Apocalypse" also stars Ian McKellen, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Olivia Munn, Lana Condor, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Tye Sheridan, Ben Hardy, Rose Byrne, Josh Helman, and Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, among others.

Jackman also teased that he would play Wolverine one last time in James Mangold's "Wolverine" sequel. The film will also see Stewart, reprising his role as the old Charles Xavier/ Professor X. "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" actor Liev Schreiber revealed in previous reports that along with his interest on reprising his role as Sabretooth in Mangold's "Wolverine" sequel, the film would center on an old Logan.

Directed by Tim Miller, "Deadpool" features Wade Wilson's origin story, as a former member of the Special Forces who became a subject in an experiment to become a superhero. Ryan Reynolds will play Deadpool, also known as the Merc with the Mouth. The film also stars Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Ed Skrein, and T.J. Miller, among others.

Miller's "Deadpool" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Feb. 12, 2016 while the release date for "Deadpool 2" is yet to be revealed. Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" premieres on May 27, 2016 while Mangold's "Wolverine" sequel hits theaters on Mar. 3, 2017.
