The Gear VR will work with the help of a smartphone that will serve as the screen and processing power which will have internal sensors that can track head movements accurately than other smartphones, Oculus shared. The Gear VR was first featured in September 2014 and had a developer version released by December and March of this year. However, the consumer version is lighter than the previous models and has a more comfortable fit carrying the same white design and touchpad along the side. The Gear VR is compatible with Samsung's Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, and Galaxy Note 5.

The consumer models were then released last March with its lighter weight than the developer model with the comfortable foam cushioning for wearable benefits. It has a back and top band and a window cover to support in the head and a touchpad controls on the side.

To get your hands for a set of Gear VR headsets, you can now pre-order the consumer version at Best Buy for less than a $100.
