New details for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" reveal new DLC features for next month and Konami to release Mission 51 soon.
Konami announce a new set of DLC patch details for next month during a livestream event as the new patch update features a new security team, Gun Cameras and Landmines for FOB and Raiden as a playable character, CrazyGamer reported.
Several gameplay videos have already been posted on YouTube as gamers will see that the new DLC for next month will have the Skulls in the Mother Base as their new line of security team and can also be deployed in their FOB as well. There are also free placements for Gun Cameras and landmines for the FOB.
Players will also have a chance to play as the cyborg ninja Raiden in the new December DLC update as he is equipped with a special new weapon that enables him to fire wormholes. A new game mode called "Challenge Tasks" and it is said that by completing this players will receive new rewards and enhanced connectivity with friends including infiltration.
Konami added that "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will also feature a Host Migration, which allows gamers to leave during "Metal Gear Online" and find another player to be his/her next host and the match will reset. All players except the host will receive EXP from the match.
Lastly, the new DLC will also allow players to have more options in Select Match Conditions were in they can choose not to use Walker Gears, change weather conditions and see Room Names.
In other news, it seems that Konami will be releasing a new mission in the main storyline soon as someone from Reddit was able to find new code sequences for Mission 51, The Bitbag reported.
The codes are read “After_THE_GREAT_ESCAPE_LIQUID” and “STORY_SEQUENCE” as Mission 51 will feature what happened to Eli a.k.a. Liquid Snake after he escaped Mother Base using Metal Gear Sahelanthropus. Mission 51 is said to bring a bit of a closure between the Eli and Tretij Rebenok/Psycho Mantis as gaming fans expressed disappointment on how the game ended with several loose ends and without a proper boss battle.
"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One,PS3, Xbox 360 and for the PC platform.
