Four car companies have issued recall orders due to various issues that affected some of their vehicles. These companies are Ford Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Kia.

Ford Motors is recalling 1,900 units of the 2016 Ford Mustang. The affected vehicles were manufactured from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2015. Ford claims that the affected vehicles have issues with their front and rear seat belts. The seatbelts may have been damaged during shipment from the supplier to Ford's assembly plant. Due to these issues, Ford said that the seatbelts may not have the adequate strength to restrain occupants during a crash.

Mercedes-Benz announced that it will recall certain models of the GLE63 AMG S 4Matic coupes and 2016 GLE450 AMG 4Matic coupes. Affected vehicles were manufactured from Dec. 10, 2014 to Apr. 29 of the current year. Mercedes said that there is a possibility that the affected vehicles are equipped with rear drive shaft bolt fasteners that may loosen up. This could result from to the rear drive shaft separating from the rear axle differential or the transmission. Only 52 vehicles were affected by the recall.

According to KPIC, Porsche Cars North America announced that it is issuing a recall order for the Macan S model 2015-2016 manufactured from March 27, 2014 to Oct. 27, 2015. Porsche added that it will also recall Macan Turbo model 2015-2016 manufactured from March 5, 2014 to Oct. 27, 2015. The recall will affect 21,835 units. The recall order was issued after it was discovered that the affected vehicles have low pressure fuel line in the engine compartment that has a possibility to leak which in turn could increase the risk of a fire.

According to The Car Connection, Kia Motors America announced that it is recalling 256,459 units of the Kia Soul and Kia EV. Kia said that the adhesive used to secure the cars steering pinion gear to the steering gear assembly did not comply with company standards and may have insufficient strength. As a result, there is a possibility that the pinion gear may separate from the steering gear assembly. Kia said that affected vehicles were manufactured from Jan. 18 to Sept. 30.
