Apple is rumored to launch "iPhone 6s Mini," which is a smaller version of its latest Flagship phone.

According to PCMag, the Cupertino-based tech firm is rumored to bring back the 4-inch size factor for the new version of the iPhone 6s in 2015. The last smartphone to have the form factor was the iPhone 5s launched in September 2013.

The technology news site reported that Timothy Arcury, an analyst from Cowen and Company, wrote a note to investors saying that Apple might be developing three new versions of the Apple smartphone for next year, including the 4-inch model dubbed as the iPhone 6s Mini, as well as a 5.5 inch and 4.7 inch model for its iPhones.

According to Arcuri, the iPhone 6s Mini's specs might be similar to the iPhone 5s, but will sport "curved screen edges" that can be seen in the iPhone 6, which was released in September 2014, and might be made using "low cost" parts, which suggests that it would be a cheaper alternative than some of Apple's smartphones.

Mirror UK also suggests that the 4-inch model might replace the iPhone 5c as Apple's entry level choice.

Apple, which recently won an antitrust case, already made the iPad mini, which is a smaller version of the iPad at 7.9 inches and was launched in 2012.

The 4-inch model is rumored to be developed for single handed operation.

Apple did not give out details neither confirming nor denying the rumored new models to be launched in 2015.
