Unlike the previous Mi Pad, the upcoming Mi Pad 2 tablet will be utilizing an Intel processor instead of the Nvidia Tegra processors, according to Windows Central.

Aside from switching the processors to be used in the Xiaomi tablet, the Android-powered Mi Pad 2 will also be having a unique feature that the Mi Pad did not have.

With the 64GB variant of the forthcoming Mi Pad 2, the user can choose whether or not to use an Android or Microsoft Windows operating system, according to Engadget.

One of the benefits of applying the Windows OS to the Mi Pad 2 is that users can stream various Xbox One games if they have an Xbox Live account and have read the tutorial about connecting the Xbox platform with the Windows OS.

Likewise, consumers can decide to pick the Android OS, especially since Google offers more useful and entertaining apps than Microsoft. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 will also have a 2GB RAM and a sizeable 64GB internal storage. With a 2048 x 1536 resolution, the tablet's 7.9-inch IPS display will be incredibly clear.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 3 will succeed the Redmi Note 2 that was actually released only three months ago. One of the most notable features of the upcoming phablet is that Xiaomi has integrated a fingerprint sensor to the Redmi Note 3, which effectively makes the device the first Xiaomi gadget to have the sensor that is typically found in high-end smartphones.

In just 0.3 seconds, the fingerprint sensor would detect the user and unlock the phablet, which has a large 4,000mAh battery. In addition, the Redmi Note 3 has a fast-charging feature that allows the phablet to have a 50 percent battery life just within an hour of charging.

The Redmi Note 3 will have a starting price of $141 while the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 that has the Windows OS will cost $200. Both of the gadgets will be released in China in December 2016.
