"Jessica Jones" lead star Krysten Ritter does not like her character to wear heels, according to reports.

Ritter plays the Marvel-Netflix superhero-turned-agent Jessica Jones. In her interview with Time, Ritter explained that while she loved the way Jones dressed, she had not wanted to show her figure or wear anything too eye-catching.

The "Jessica Jones" lead star added that it was hard to fight in high heels or even jeans that were too tight. Ritter also pointed out that one could not kick in skinny, skinny jeans. She also mentioned that she could not walk in high heels and wearing them for 45 minutes was painful because it killed her feet and hurt her back.

For Ritter, she literally wore high heels only when she had a red carpet to go to and took them off immediately afterwards.

Ritter also talked about how Jones' outfit mirrored hers in some ways. According to the actress, Jones did not have money, so she did not change her outfit every day. Ritter also said that if she had a pair of jeans she wore everyday, it was because she loved them and she would have been "very bummed" if she had lost them. The actress added that she did not have a backup pair, which had made Jones similar her

Meanwhile, "Jessica Jones" season 1 episode 1 "AKA Ladies Night" introduced Jones as a woman with a superheroic past of her own, which is set to be alluded in an entertaining fashion a number of times in the series, according to Den of Geek.

"Jessica Jones" season 1 episode 1 "AKA Ladies Night" also saw Jones reveal her identities to strip-club owner Gregory Spheeris and spy on Luke Cage, which was followed by Jones and Cage sleeping together. Jones was also tapped by Barbara Shlottman and Bob Shlottman, who reported the strange behavior and disappearance of their daughter Hope Shlottman.

Jones discovered that Hope was with the mind-controlling villain Kilgrave. While she wanted to escape her past, Jones was convinced by her friend and foster-sister Trish Walker to help Hope.
