"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson admitted that he cheated on Mama June Shannon with a coworker's wife. The couple will be part of WEtv's "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" in an attempt to save their relationship.
In an interview with toofab, Mama June revealed that Sugar Bear cheated on her with one of her closest friends. When the couple broke up in June, insiders claim that it was because Mama June caught Sugar Bear on several dating websites. The former, however, held that he did more than trolling online.
Mama June shared that she was extremely hurt when she found out about his infidelity. She, however, also explained to him that fans will do everything to get close to celebrities. She pointed out that some just wanted to sleep with him because he is Honey Boo Boo's dad.
"You gotta realize who's really there for you, and who's a fanatic and just wants to say 'Oh my god, I slept with Sugar Bear,'" she said.
A year after "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" was cancelled by TLC, the couple is returning to another reality series. Mama June shared that fans are going to see a different side of Sugar Bear that they have not seen before. She added that Sugar Bear should be keep an open mind and not treat the series as a "vacation."
Meanwhile, Mama June also shared that her rumored relationship with convicted sex offender Mark McDaniel will also be tacked on the show. TLC immediately cancelled their previous show when she was linked to McDaniel, who allegedly molested her daughter Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell.
