An NFC West matchup between division leaders Arizona Cardinals (9-2) and St. Louis Rams (4-7) is set at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday, December 6 as the 2015 NFL season moves forward.

Arizona will try to avenge their tough 24-22 loss at the University of Phoenix Stadium during Week 4 of the season when St. Louis' rookie running back Todd Gurley had a breakthrough game with 146 yards in 19 carries.

The Cardinals are coming off an ugly 19-13 win against the struggling San Francisco 49ers at the Levi's Stadium last Sunday, as per Fansided.

Quarterback Carson Palmer scored a late 8-yard touchdown rush to lead Arizona past the hard-fighting 49ers for their fifth straight victory and nine of 11 overall as they sit atop the NFC West standings.

One of their two losses was against the Rams, who were manhandled by the Cincinnati Bengals, 31-7, at the Paul Brown Stadium also last Sunday, as reported by ESPN.

Signal Caller Nick Foles, who was back in the starting lineup after interim starter Case Keenum suffered a concussion in their previous game against the Ravens, played poorly with no touchdowns, three interceptions, and one sack as he went 30-of-46 for 228 yards and a 32.2 QBR.

The Cardinals are projected to extend their winning streak to six on the road this Sunday.
