However, since then they were able to string five consecutive victories to move up to the second spot in the division behind the Denver Broncos.

Their last game was a commanding 30-22 win over the Buffalo Bills at their home field of Arrowhead Stadium last Sunday, as reported by Sports Illustrated.

Quarterback Alex Smith had a great game, passing 19-of-30 for 255 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions, and one sack for a QBR of 91.9.

Meanwhile, the Raiders are at third place in the division, two games above bottom-dwellers San Diego Chargers.

They managed to stop their three-game slide last Sunday with a close win over the Tennessee Titans, 24-21, at the Nissan Stadium, as per Yahoo Sports.

Kansas City is projected to continue with their winning streak as they widen the gap between them and the Raiders in the standings on Sunday.
