"Final Fantasy XV" just ended its pre-beta stage. While there is still work to be done following this developmental step, those in charge of the game have given a glimpse of where it stands.

This means that the "Final Fantasy XV" can be played from start to end at this point of the development. Right now, the game is playable as a complete game. Despite being far from the fully finished product, it appears that at least half of the game is already finished enough to be considered at the same quality as the final version, Gematsu reported.

The game can be viewed in its entirety at this point, but the next step involves adjustments and polishing of the entire game. The framework of the game may already be laid out, but the developer is now looking at fleshing it out completely.

In the meantime, the team behind "Final Fantasy XV" is keeping fans satisfied with little sneak peeks of the game. Before, there had been artworks of one of the characters Gladiolus in various states and occasions. The latest of these was showcased in October in celebration of the fall season in Japan. The developer has featured Noctis' companion playing basketball as homage to the National Sports Festival.

This time, the new artwork shows off Noctis in what the developer dubbed as festive art, DualShockers reported. This seems to be a way to celebrate the upcoming holidays. So far, after a two-day teaser, the creators have already penciled and colored-in the artwork of Noctis.

"Final Fantasy XV" is coming out sometime next year. Square Enix has yet to reveal a release date, though an announcement is expected during the planned March 2016 event.
