Playing with the hopes of Jon Snow's fans once again, HBO released a teaser of "Game Of Thrones" season 6 that showed the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch standing regally, before quickly flashing to what appeared to be his bleeding corpse from last season's finale episode.

"We watch. We listen, and we remember," says a voice over, along with the shots of the fallen leader, who is widely rumoured to be returning this season. However, the teaser ends with a shot of Snow being brutally stabbed, calling back to the devastating season five finale.

Although it has been claimed endlessly that Snow is dead, the new teaser is filled with his old footages once again triggering the rumor that Kit Harrington is set to reprise his iconic role and is most likely to become more powerful in the upcoming season.

Adding fuel to the rumor, Harrington was spotted on the "Game Of Thrones" set in Belfast in the complete get-up of Jon Snow, Daily Mail reported.

Another major character to get featured in the teaser is Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), who is seen in a flashback moment sharing a kiss Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen). Just like Snow, her fate is also a matter of speculation since she was last shown jumping to freedom from Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) and is presumed dead.

The teaser ends with a shot of Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), who has by now apparently excelled his ability to enter the minds of animals or in some cases, other people.

The youngest Stark was last seen in season 3. The clip ends with Bran with warg eyes, before large, bold silver lettered "Spring" flashes upon the screen, referencing the highly anticipated return of the series.

Although HBO is yet to announce "Game Of Thrones" season 6 release date, it is said to premier on April 24, 2016, Realty Today reported.
