"Street Fighter 5" will feature the release date for the beta test 3, a new game opening trailer and the DLC characters for the sequel.

Game director Yoshinori Ono confirmed the launch date for "Street Fighter 5' third beta test gameplay on Dec.18 next week. The beta test 3 will run for three days starting from Dec. 18-20 as Capcom stated that their will be an improved online multiplayer gameplay and will be available in the PlayStation 4 and PC versions, complete with cross platform gameplay, Shack News reported.

Aside from the beta test 3, Ono added that "Street Fighter 5" will also be the official video game in the 2016 Capcom Proc Tour on March 18 next year. The pro tour will have a prize money of $500,000 and the event will take place in Atlanta, Georgia.

Capcom has also showcased a new game opening trailer for Street Fighter 5" which features several of the game's characters like Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken Masters and M.Bison, as well as newcomers Necalli and Rashid. A new character was also introduced in "Street Fighter 5" as F.A.N.G. has been added to the roster during the PlayStation Experience, Gamerant reported.

F.A.N.G. is one the new characters that were leaked online along with another fighter called "TUT" and Capcom teased that the first wave of DLC characters could be Juri, Urien, Alex, Guile, Ibuki and Balrog.

Ono added that there will be more characters in the roster as Akuma, Poison, Hugo, Dudley, C. Viper, Mike Haggar, Abel and Eagle are some of the fighters that fans wanted to see in the sequel.

The current list of characters in "Street Fighter 5" include Ryun, Chun-Li, Charlie Nash, M.Bison, Cammy White, Birdie, Ken Masters, Necalli,Vega, R. Mika, Rashid, Karin Kanzuki, Zangief, Laura, Dhalsim and F.A.N.G.

"Street Fighter 5" will officially launch in Feb. 16, 2016 in North America and Feb. 18 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
