Fans and followers of different franchise games are too thrilled as it was announced that their favorite games have been listed for nominations on the upcoming Game Developers Choice Awards 2015, Gamasutra reports.

According to Gamespot, GDCA 2015 will honor and highlight the best game developers and games created in 2014 regardless if it is big budgeted or indie games.

Leading the nominees for the 15th annual GDCA is the action role-playing game "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" from Monolith Productions with five nominations, including Game of the Year, Innovation Award, Best Design, Best Narrative and Best Technology, out of nine categories.

Bungie's First-person shooter game "Destiny," released in Sept. 9, 2014, received multiple nominations including Game of the Year, Best Audio, Best Technology plus an Honorable mention for Best Design and Best Visual Art.

Just like "Destiny," Creative Assembly's first person survival game "Alien: Isolation," released in Oct. 7, 2014, received numerous nominations such Game of the Year, Best Visual Art and Best Audio. It also received Honorable mention for categories Best Design and Best Technology.

Blizzard's free-to-play digital CCG "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft" got three nominations including Game of the Year, Best Design and Best Handheld/Mobile Game.

Along with "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor," "Destiny," "Alien: Isolation" and "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft," "Bayonetta 2" was also nominated in Game of the Year category. Platinum Game's "Bayonetta 2" is also a nominee for Best Visual Art.

Honeyslug's art game "Hohokum" also received love and nominated for Best Visual Art and Best Audio. Ubisoft Montreal's "Far Cry 4" received one nomination (Best Technology) and three honorable mentions for Game of the Year, Best Design and Best Audio.

All winners will be announced come March 4, 2015 at Moscone Convention Center, West Hall in San Francisco, California.
