New "Final Fantasy XV" details will feature the cross and slash link systems in the game, as well as the possible new demo to be showcased at the March 2016 event.

Square Enix will developing a new demo gameplay for "Final Fantasy XV" in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles as several speculations claim that this could be a different preview than the first playable demo, "Episode: Duscae".

The said demo is rumored to be showcased during the planned March 2016 event for "Final Fantasy XV", which will be held on Malaysia. Ironically, Square Enix is also headed to Malaysia for this year's Comic Fiesta event on Dec. 19-20 as game director Hajime Tabata and lead designer Wan Hazmer will be in attendance to give fans updates for the upcoming sequel, Realty Today reported.

Square Enix lead designer Satoshi Kitade stated that the pre-beta version of "Final Fantasy XV" has been completed and they are now working on polishing the game mechanics, quality and testing certain elements for the game.

Aside from the new demo, Game Design Section Manager Kenichi Shida announced that "Final Fantasy XV" will feature the "Slash Link" and "Cross Link" systems. Shida stated that the Cross Link system in the sequel will be different from the demo to the point of overhaul, so that it will fit perfectly with the final product.

The Slash Link system will also have several changes in certain situation as players must trigger the right combinations and conditions from the Cross Link trigger in order to unleash attacks during co-op battles. Shida added that both sytems are the "bread and butter" for "Final Fantasy XV" and will continue to work on new changes until the team feels satisfied with the result, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

Square Enix stated that their will be a new level up system similar to the Gambit System and a new Monster Climbing feature that allows players to attack different body parts and will be effective against larger foes.

"Final Fantasy XV" will launch sometime in 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
