"Once Upon a Time" (OUAT) Season 5 is currently on a winter hiatus. There will be no new episode until spring 2016. The show will resume its run in the New Year with Episode 12 that also happens to be the 100th episode of ABC's fairy tale series. Here are few spoilers for the next chapter of the show. Episode 12 is titled "Souls of the Departed" and will air on March 6, 2016 marking the huge milestone for popular fantasy series. The show is expected to see Emma Swan begin her journey to bring back Captain Hook as she vowed in the midseason finale. Emma Swan and other Storybrooke heroes will attempt to bring back Captain Hook from the Underworld.
A promo video for "Once Upon a Time" Season 5 teases the events of Episode 12 "Souls of the Departed." It gives a glimpse of the Underworld where several surprises awaits Emma, Regina, Snow White and others.
The Underworld looks a lot like the Storybrooke. "Once Upon a Time" (OUAT) showrunners Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis told The Hollywood Reporter, the reason why it looks like Storybrooke will be revealed in Season 5 Winter Premiere. "It has to do with some of the folks we're gonna meet down there," Horowitz said.
Meanwhile, fans must prepare to meet some new people in the Underworld. The 100th episode will not only see the return of the fan-favourite characters but also feature the special appearance by Hercules, Megara and Hades. At the same time, the EP confirmed the return of "a lot of people from our past who we haven't seen in a while."
The co-creator also suggested the possibility of Rumple and Belle's baby. As for Zelena, she may not be there in the first part of "Once Upon a Time" (OUAT) Season 5, but will be a "large part of the second arc."
In addition, Entertainment Weekly revealed that Tony Perez will return as Regina's father Prince Henry for 100th Episode. He will be joined by Cora, Peter Pan, Sidney Glass and the Blind Witch. According to Variety, Season 5 Episode 12 will also feature some flashbacks and provide fans "season one feeling all over again."
