Xiaomi Mi5 has been the talk of the town for a while and now, the device is expected to be officially announced in January 2016. The most awaited handset is reported to be equipped with a bezel-less display and a physical home button.
The Xiaomi Mi5 has been showed online for so many times in past few days, Android Headlines reported. One of those leaks even revealed that the handset has a physical home button underneath the display.
Xiaomi Mi5 is reported to have a very thin bezel to the point where it already looks like bezel-less based on the leaked photos. More so, Xiaomi Mi5 is said that the device will be 6.9m thin and will also boast a metallic frame.
The Xiaomi Mi5 may also feature a 5.2-inch display with HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a Snapdragon 820 chipset processor, International Business Times reported. Fans can choose from Xiaomi Mi5's two storage variants, which include 32GB and 64GB. The first one will have 3GB of RAM, while the latter will have 4GB of RAM.
Camera-wise, this Xiaomi Mi5 is armed with 21-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. As for the exact launch date, there was no given statement yet. However, there are some Xiaomi Mi5 reports saying that the device will be announced on Jan. 21, 2016. Xiaomi Mi5 Plus, is also anticipated to be announced along with the Xiaomi Mi5 launch.
Xiaomi Mi5 is said to be made available in the market in February 2016.
