‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Episode 9 (Midseason Premiere) Spoilers: What To Expect When The Show Returns

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 is more than two months away from airing its much-awaited midseason premiere, which is expected to be heavy-on-action, introducing some intriguing twists. Episode 9 is titled "No Way Out" and it aptly describes the current situation of our fan-favourite characters who were attacked by a horde of walkers in midseason finale. Here are few things fans can expect to see when AMC's post-apocalyptic show returns to TV in the year 2016.

While it is too early for a synopsis for "The Walking Dead" Season 6 Episode 9, fans can expect to see what happens after the attack by Walkers. At the same time, Deanna's, who has been bitten, fate is revealed.

Outside, the group attempts to escape by disguising themselves as walkers. But will they succeed in getting away from the walkers especially after Sam calls out for his mother? As shown in the post-credits scene, Abraham, Sasha and Daryl Dixon are taken into custody by another group called the Saviours and they look pretty dangerous.

According to the spoilers based on various media outlets and other sources, fans can expect to see the first appearance of the new big bad in "The Walking Dead" Season 6 winter premiere. Episode 9 "No Way Out" will introduce the leader of the group The Saviours, Negan.

In the meantime, the showrunners have indicated at the introduction of several new characters and plots in the second wave of Season 6. News publication Design & Trend is speculating that the show will feature lots of plots directly from Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" comic books. Besides Negan and the Saviours, it is speculated that the Alexandria and Rick Grimes' group members will finally be introduced to the neighbouring community The Hilltop and its leader Gregory in the second half of Season 6.

With Hilltop colony coming into the picture, the introduction of Jesus is expected, too. Jesus is the person who offers Rick to join the Hilltop trade network. Further, the website suggests that "The Walking Dead" Season 6 midseason premiere might feature "a death or two." The speculations are based on the plot of Volume 14 of the comic book, which has the same title as the forthcoming Episode 9.

Meanwhile, "The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott M. Gimple has teased a "deadly" episode when the show returns to TV. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Gimple said that the Episode 9 is "quite deadly, sadly. There is some death going on in that but it's also unbelievably intense. It's one of the most intense episodes we've done."
