According to TV by the Numbers, "South Park" Season 19 finale instalment was placed at the number one spot on cable Wednesday.
"South Park" received 1.1 rating in the 18-49 age bracket with 1825000 viewers watching the finale episode on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015. The show shared the top spot with "American Horror Story" (2142000 viewers and 1.1 rating) and "Alaskan Bush People" (3767000 viewers and 1.1 rating).
"South Park" Season 20 Airdate Details
Season 17 premiered on Sep. 25, 2013 and "South Park" Season 18, Episode 1 titled "Go Fund Yourself" aired on Sep. 24, 2014. "South Park" Season 19, Episode 1 premiered on Wednesday, Sep. 16, 2015.
"South Park" Season 20, Episode 1 is likely to air in the second half of September 2016. It is possible that the airdate can be Wednesday, Sep. 21, 2016.
It will be interesting what the creators of the show have in store for Cartman and gang in "South Park" Season 20. Season 19 ended on a high note with the finale taking on the gun culture and law.
