"Fallout 4" Patch 1.2 is now available. Bethesda has finally rolled out the new path and it is in total gear on team. Unfortunately, it comes with a new launcher that breaks mod support as per Nexus Mods.

"Fallout 4" Patch 1.2 user posted the solution on a forum thread on how to fix it, WCCF Tech reported. But before it is started, users will be needing the Nexus Mod Manager. Here's the "Fallout 4" quick fix should be done:

1. Nexus Mod Manager must be opened and start enabling the mods. After that, a user can launch the "Fallout 4" but do not press the play button just yet.

2. After launching, the user can re-enable the mods through the Nexus Mod Manager, which were disabled upon launching the game.

3. Press the play button and fasten seat belts, as gamers can now play the game and witness Bethesda losing the combat.

It is still vague whether Bethesda had purposely get rid of mod support or not. After all, the popular game development is known to support mods.

"Fallout 4" game even speculated that Bethesda really did this on purpose to make players wait for a mod workshop. Some also say that it is just purely a bug. The workaround, however, is pretty effective so gamers can continue with the mods for now.

The "Fallout 4 Script Extender" has been successfully updated as well and is compatible now with the newest patch. However, the tool still depends on the Nexus Mod Manager to work.

"Fallout 4" Patch 1.2 also comes with a number of changes, which include number pad keys that can now be used for remapping, while the remapping activate can now work on Quick Container, Game Rant reported.
