The New York Jets (8-5) will try to extend their winning run to four games and seal their playoffs berth when they take on the struggling Dallas Cowboys (4-9), who is still in the thick of the fight in the NFC East, at the AT&T Stadium on Saturday, December 19.

New York strangled the Tennessee Titans out of playoff contention, 30-8, at the MetLife Stadium last Sunday, as per Yahoo Sports.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick led the Jets' attack, throwing 21-of-36 for 263 yards and three touchdowns while the defense held the Titans to only eight points throughout the contest.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys lost for the second time in their last three matches to somehow make their postseason hopes a little blurry.

Dallas was defeated by the Green Bay Packers, 28-7, at the Lambeau Field also last Sunday, as reported by USA Today.

The loss put Jason Garrett's squad two games behind the other three NFC East teams, Redskins, Eagles, and Giants, who all have an identical 6-7 slate as all teams in the division are still eligible for a postseason spot.

Prediction: Jets win, 28-14.
