New "Batman: Arkham Knight" details will feature the launch date for "Season of Infamy" DLC and Rocksteady Studios not supporting dual GPU setup for the PC version.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the launch date for "Batman: Arkham Knight's" upcoming DLC update, "Season of Infamy" on Dec. 22. The "Season of Infamy" DLC will have the Batman and his allies fighting four of his notorious rogues; Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, Mister Freeze and Ra's Al Ghul in new story mode missions for Gotham's Most Wanted.
There are also bonus items in the new DLC update such as "The Dark Knight Trilogy" costume, the original Arkham batmobile, the Crime Fighter Pack #5 and six TBC AR challenges, GearNuke reported.
Rocksteady Studios added that they will also release a new patch for "Batman: Arkham Knight" that enhances the rain effects within the game making more prevalent. The said patch fix is slated to launch next year in January for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, while the PC version will added before the end of the month.
The January DLC for "Batman: Arkham Knight" will feature maps from past "Arkham" games like Wayne Manor Main Hall, Iceberg Lounge, Monarch Theater, Batcave and Crime Alley. There are also rumored new DLC costumes such as Batman Hush, Batman Justice and Batman of Zurr-En-Arrh, Damien Wayne Robin costume and Red Hood's heroic costume.
In other news, Rocksteady Studios confirmed that they will not add dual GPU support for "Batman: Arkham Knight" for PC platform.
A representative from Warner Bros. stated that the decision to not developed the SLI and Crossfire support was a "tough decision" on their part and explained that even in their best efforts of improving its performance, the result will come out small and will have a high risk of creating new issues for all gamers playing the sequel, Gamespot reported.
The PC version of the game has met with several issues and the cancellation of the dual GPU setup is added to its list of potential problems and disappointments for gamers playing the game
"Batman: Arkham Knight" is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
