Miss Universe 2015 host Steve Harvey made a horrible mistake announcing the winner of the pageant.
Just when Colombians thought that they took home the most coveted crown for second time in a row, Harvey apologizes and said that it is Miss Universe Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach who won the competition.
The "Family Feud" host apologized to the crowd on behalf of the organizers at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas when he announced the wrong winner.
"This is exactly what's on the card. I will take responsibility for this, it was my mistake, it was on the card, but the right thing I can show it to you, right here. The first runner up is Colombia. It is my mistake. It's still a great night," said the host.
Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega walked towards the contestants and took the crown from Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and gave it to Wurtzbach. The network immediately cut the program and the public was left there wondering what happened afterwards.
Based from the look on their faces, the candidates remained graceful and calm.
The top three finalists are Miss Universe USA Olivia Jordon, Miss Universe Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and Miss Universe Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
