The controversial Miss Universe 2015 mistake has turned into an ugly war online. There are various reports discussing conflicting views on who deserved the crown of Miss Universe.
In an embarrassing turn of events in the pageant, Harvey apologized and said that it is Miss Universe Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach who won the competition and Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez came in second.
The "Family Feud" host apologized to the crowd on behalf of the organizers at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas when he announced the wrong winner.
"This is exactly what's on the card. I will take responsibility for this, it was my mistake, it was on the card, but the right thing I can show it to you, right here. The first runner up is Colombia. It is my mistake. It's still a great night," said the host.
Days after the historic competition, people are still at it as to who deserve the crown. One of the judges, Perez Hilton, said that judges' decision is unanimous that Miss Philippines won. Filipinos enumerated and created all possible memes and inforgraphics stating why Wurtzbach should be hailed Miss Universe 2015.
On the other hand, some people think that there is some politics in play at the pageant. Miss Germany claimed that no one among the contestants voted for Miss Philippines. Some videos emerged showing other Latina candidates supporting and consoling the disappointed Miss Colombia.
As expected, fellow Colombians were also disappointed with the mistake at the pageant. A group of lawyers were reported to sue the Miss Universe for the mishap.
The top three finalists are Miss Universe USA Olivia Jordon, Miss Universe Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and Miss Universe Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
